Kimchi Pepperoni Pizza

An umami-packed combo that quickly became my favorite pizza topping.

Instructions

  1. Shred the mozzarella cheese and keep chilled.
  2. Stretch the pizza dough out, leaving room for the crust to rise.
  3. Using a large spoon or ladle, evenly apply the pizza sauce onto the stretched dough.
  4. Top the sauce with the dried oregano and shredded cheese.
  5. Add the sliced pepperoni and kimchi.
  6. Bake the pizza.
  7. Once done, garnish with hand-torn or thinly sliced basil leaves.
  8. Slice and serve immediately.
  9. Optionally (but highly recommended), drizzle hot honey over each slice.
