  1. Cook shallot and garlic in oil and butter over medium heat for 2 minutes.
  2. Add mezcal, then gochujang before cooking for 2 more minutes.
  3. Add crushed tomatoes and simmer over low heat for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Cook your pasta according to the instructions on the box.
  5. Add cream to the simmered sauce and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Fold the cooked pasta into the finished sauce, and garnish with parmesan and herbs.
  7. This recipe makes 2 massive (or 3 medium) servings.
